Payment Plans & Sliding Scale Options

It is essential that rewards-based dog training and behavior services are accessible to all who need them. With this in mind, we provide payment plan options for our 1-on-1 & Day Training services. We also offer sliding scale pricing for our in person Classic 1-on-1's & Virtual 1-on-1's. Below is a description of our payment plan options & our sliding scale options, guidelines for what might work for you, and information about how to access these services.

Payment Plans
 

We understand that dog training can be a big upfront cost and can be difficult to access because of that. This is why we offer payment plans as an option to every client for In Person 1-on-1's; and our Day Training memberships are designed as monthly payment plans by default. Our goal is to make our services as accessible as possible.

 

4-Packs of In Person 1-on-1's or Virtual 1-on-1's can be paid in full or in 2 monthly payments.
6-Packs of In Person 1-on-1's or Virtual 1-on-1's can be paid in full, in 2 monthly payments, or in 3 monthly payments.

 

Day Training Memberships are setup by default as 3 monthly payments. We also offer day training options in 1-month packages now.

Sliding Scale Options

Please note that sliding scale options are not a simple “discount.” If you are able to pay for full-price services, please do - this is how we can ensure that our sliding scale options are available for those who need them. Please be mindful that if you purchase a price at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher ticket prices, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility. Being honest with yourself and your financial situation when engaging with sliding scale practices grows strong and sustainable communities... Additionally, when we are paid fairly, we are able to invest more time and resources to free and lower cost offerings.
 

Our sliding scale services are available on a first-come, first-serve basis each month.

• Option A: 35% price reduction (pay 65%) - 4 slots available per month

• Option B: 65% price reduction (pay 35%) - 3 slots available per month

If a sliding scale spot is not available at the time of request, we can add you to a waitlist for our sliding scale options. It should also be noted that if you are using the Sliding Scale options your payment cannot be split into monthly payments must be made in full.

We are also offering a discount for consultations if needed. This discount is set for 35% off. Please send us a message/email requesting that discount code if it is needed.

How to Access

Our sliding scale structure is not based on income alone, and we do not require you to provide any “proof” of need. What you can afford is related to your finances, but it’s not as simple as how much money you make. To qualify for our sliding scale pricing, just tell us you would like to use our sliding scale option, and which option (Option A or Option B) you would like!

Here are the quick guidelines about how I currently price my sliding scale and to help you determine where you fall on it.
 

• The top price is the actual cost of the class. If you choose a price below the top tier you are receiving a discount.

• The Option A price is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for this class may qualify as a sacrifice but it would not create hardship.

• The Option B price is for those who struggle to meet basic needs and paying for this class would still be a significant hardship.
